AISA Academic Calendar

Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!

We are pleased to present the academic calendar for the year, designed to help students, families, and staff stay organized and informed throughout the school year. The school calendar serves as an essential planning tool, outlining the structure of the academic year, including start and end dates, teacher workdays, holidays, school breaks, and key academic milestones.

For example, the calendar highlights:

  • First and last days of school (the first day of school is August 30, 2026, and the last day of school is June 24, 2027).

  • Teacher workdays and professional development days, including New Teacher Orientation from August 16–20, Teacher Work Days from August 23–27, and end-of-year Teacher Work Days from June 25–27.

  • National and religious holidays, such as Algerian Independence Day on November 1, U.S. Labor Day on September 6, and religious observances including Eid El Fitr and Eid El Adha (tentative, subject to lunar calendar confirmation).

  • School breaks, including Fall Break from October 11–15, Winter Break from December 20–January 7, and Spring Break from April 4–8.

  • Quarterly academic milestones, such as the end of Quarter 1 on November 8, Quarter 2 on February 3, Quarter 3 on April 19, and Quarter 4 on June 24.

We encourage all families to review the full calendar carefully to stay informed of important dates and to support smooth planning for the academic year ahead.
